BACI DOLCI (sweet kiss) is produced by Cantina Colli Euganei, located in the Euganean Hills of the Veneto. The volcanic soil provides a perfect soil for local grape varietals like Marzemino, which is blended into Baci Dolci. Marzemino has been planted in the area for centuries, and most famously was referenced in Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
PRETTY BOY ROSATO is made from the Sicilian varietal Nero d’Avola grown in the hot, dry climate of the Riverland, Australia. The wine displays lush strawberries and cream on the nose and super refreshing raspberry and rose water on the front palate, but it’s the savoury notes that are really shining through on this wine and continue to impress – herbaceous, acid driven and moreish to keep it all working together. It’s everything we want to see in a rose, and about as smashable as it gets.
PASSION HAS RED LIPS is another favorite from “down under.” Made by Some Young Punks of 55% cabernet sauvignon and 45% shiraz from McLaren Vale (South Australia), the grapes are fermented separately, then blended. Think strawberries, pepper spices and roast lamb with mint. Vegan and vegetarian.
The 2019 vintage of SLO JAMS is 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Roussanne from Destiny Ridge Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills appellation of Washington State. SLO JAMS opens with aromas of key lime and lemon grass followed by light and fresh flavors of cut pineapple, ripe grapefruit and stone fruit. Cue up some old mixed tapes from old flames (our your current one) and drink up!
Sexual Chocolate is different every year! The 2017 vintage is a blend of mostly Syrah (the remainder is Malbec) that delivers an intense combo of ripe, dark fruit with a long, smooth finish. This is a wine that can hold its own but is also a most welcome addition to a variety of foods.
